A recent undercover investigation by FOX5 demonstrates that Las Vegas taxis continue to long-haul travelers going from McCarran International Airport to the strip. Long-hauling occurs when a taxicab driver takes a passenger on a longer route than necessarywhich adds several dollars to the fare.
