HB 675: Bill Seeks to Allow Surcharges for Fares Paid by Credit Card

A new Bill recently introduced with in the Florida state legislature seeks to allow Florida ground transportation companies to charge travelers a surcharge when paying the fare by credit card.  Representative Daphne D. Campbell of District 108 introduced House Bill 675 (HB 675) On November 16, 2011.

The proposed effective date is scheduled for July 1, 2012.
