D.A. to Investigate Donations from GO Lorrie’s Airport Shuttle Employees

by admin on October 19, 2011

The District Attorney recently announced that their office has started a criminal probe regarding donations made to the re-election campaign for Mayor Ed Lee from employees of GO Lorrie’s Airport Shuttle.  23 contributions totaling $11,500 were returned by the re-election campaign which were associated with the San Francisco shuttle operator.

The Bay Citizen reported that van drivers of GO Lorrie’s Airport Shuttle were promised reimbursements if they contributed to Mayor Ed Lee’s re-election campaign.

The donations were made about 2 weeks after the San Francisco Airport announced it was reversing a decision for pickup locations for airport shuttle companies.  According to records and interviews with city officials, GO Lorrie’s Airport Shuttle stood to benefit from these changes.
