BWI Airport Plans to Issue New RFP for Taxi Service Contract

The Maryland Aviation Administration which operates the Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport is seeking proposals for a new exclusive airport taxi contract.  BWI Taxi Management Inc currently has the contract to provide walk-up taxi service from the BWI Airport and is set to expire on June 30, 2012.

The new Request For Proposal for the BWI taxi contract is scheduled to be issued on October 5, 2011 and all proposals must be submitted by December 7, 2011 (4:00pm).

The new contract is scheduled to start on July 1, 2012 for a maximum term of no more than five years.
