ADA Cab: Program to offer Discount Phoenix Taxi Rates to Residents with Disabilities

The city recently launched a new taxi service program called ADA Cab which offers people with disabilities subsidized rates when booking a Phoenix taxi.  The program is managed by the Phoenix Transit Department and supplements the Dial-a-Ride service.

The ADA Cab Program is only offered to residents within the city of Phoenix and participants must be ADA-Certified and under the age of 65.

Participants can purchase up to $80 worth of Phoenix taxi vouchers per month.  Coupon books can be purchased for 30% of their face value (up to $40).  Additional coupon books are offered at 50% off.  Each book has 20 coupons which are valued at $1.00 each.
